3. Epitalon may reduce oxidative stress markers

Oxidative stress — the accumulation of reactive oxygen species beyond the body’s antioxidant capacity — is a key driver of cellular aging. Epitalon has demonstrated antioxidant-related effects in several animal studies, reducing lipid peroxidation and supporting endogenous antioxidant enzyme activity.

These effects appear to be indirect rather than direct antioxidant activity (epitalon is not itself an antioxidant molecule). The proposed mechanism involves epitalon’s influence on gene expression related to oxidative stress response pathways.

What the evidence shows: Animal studies consistently show reduced oxidative stress markers with epitalon administration.

4. Epitalon has been studied for immune system modulation
